Desde hace 2.400 años se documentan luchas de camellos en #Turquía. Además de atracción cultural, uno de los festivales más importantes que se celebra en #Selçuk (cerca de Esmirna) recauda fondos para hospitales, asilos y otras causas como el nacimiento de la Aviación Turca a principios de los años veinte del pasado siglo. Son muy populares las luchas de camellos y el público abarrota las arenas donde se celebra la competición.
